Wyclef Jean vows to sue the Los Angeles Constabulary Department following an embarrassing mistaken arrest on Mon night.

The onetime Fugee vocalist was placed in handcuff last nighttime after he was pulled over by Los Angeles County Sheriff'south deputies. The incident took place approximately 1:30 a.m. in the West Hollywood area of LA and things went bad pretty quickly. The singer was traveling with two females in his vehicle, 1 of whom was his manager, TMZ reported.

In a video posted on his Instagram business relationship, Wyclef says that he was placed in handcuff for no reason even afterwards cooperating with police force officers. He said that cops took off his Haitian bandana and immediately put the cuffs on him while asking him for his name etc. Simply the Sheriff deputies have a different story. They are saying that the singer exited his vehicle as soon every bit he was pulled over and proceeded towards the trunk when they told him not to move. They say they likewise asked him non to put his hand near his waist band and he did anyway. He was also placed in the backseat of a squad automobile for security reasons, cops say.

This is what Wyclef Jean wrote on his Instagram account. "I was asked past the constabulary to Put my hands up. And so I was told practise not move. I was instantly hand cuffed earlier existence asked to identify myself and before beingness told why. In the process I said my proper noun and told them they accept wrong person. They proceeded to ignore me and I was treated like a criminal. I am sure no father wants his sons or daughters to see him in Handcuffs especially if he is innocent. Equally some one who has law enforcers in my family, I was appalled by the bahavior of the LAPD."
